Basic CPR and AED - please don't be a bystander

About
Being able to perform effective CPR is an important lifesaving skill. Using a manikin with built in feedback you will be able practice effective CPR. Do CPR for 30 seconds and you will win a packet of Lifesavers as well as potentially becoming a lifesaver. You will need to be able to kneel over the manikin and push quite hard. Please wear loose comfortable clothing. We demonstrate "no breath" CPR using the Call-Push-Shock model endorsed by the Council of Australian Ambulance Authorities. There are two public AED (defibrillators) in Bundanoon. We will also demonstrate using a practice AED on the manikin.
If someone has a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), undertaking immediate CPR can provide a window for survival until emergency responders arrive.
This is a community project brought to you by volunteers from the Bundanoon Community Association (BCA)
