Evidence-based Decision Making in Architecture

Evidence-based Decision Making in Architecture

hero

Architectural practice is full of complex decisions, from design strategies to business operations. As the industry faces increasing pressure to deliver sustainable, effective and accountable outcomes, embracing evidence-based decision making is not just valuable – it’s vital. Join the ACA and Arch_Manu on Tuesday 19 August for an insightful CPD webinar which will addresses this issue of decision making in architecture practice and identify some practical initiatives to enhance your processes.

Presenter Dr Christian Criado-Perez, will explore the sources of evidence that decision-makers in the AEC sector draw on, a framework for decision-making that can foster evidence-based practice and focus on the use and application of evidence from scientific research. Finally, Christian will walk attendees through a number of promising initiatives that can help organisations engage more in evidence-based practice.

This webinar is in collaboration with Arch_Manu: ARC Centre for Next-Gen Architectural Manufacturing ITTC.

OUR SPEAKER

Dr. Criado-Perez has experience working in the aerospace industry in roles related to production engineering and change management. He has an engineering background, an MBA from IE Business School and a PhD from UNSW Business School.
