ABOUT THE RETREAT

No one has formally instructed us on the art of parenting or the dynamics of the parent-child relationship. We are thrust into this role and expected to navigate it, hoping for favorable outcomes. This retreat presents an opportunity to learn how to positively influence your children, attune to their needs, and foster mutual understanding. 

Join Swamiji for a two-day Family Retreat, where adults will delve into strategies for enhancing happiness, harmony, love, and success in their parenting journey. Teenagers (JCs) and Children (BV) will focus on cultivating healthy relationships with their parents, peers, and the broader community. They will also acquire techniques for approaching life in a constructive, positive, and joyful manner. The retreat will feature activities designed to strengthen family bonds through love, joy, and harmony. This weekend is dedicated to self-reflection, quality time with family and friends, and nurturing your own peace and happiness. 

All classes and activities for adults, teenagers, and children will be led by Swamiji, providing ample opportunities to address your inquiries. This is your opportunity to gain insights into Hindu Scriptures and the wisdom imparted by historical Masters on this topic. Participants will have the chance to engage with other parents to discuss and resolve family and parenting challenges. We will explore various topics through lectures, videos, and discussions, focusing on actionable steps to foster a joyful, harmonious, and special connection between parents and children. 

The retreat aims not only to promote family growth but also to cultivate lasting friendships. Daily activities will include Morning and Evening Prayers, Bhajans, storytelling, scripture study, workshops, nature walks, games, videos, yoga, meditation, discussions, and many other engaging activities. Registration covers accommodation as well as delicious vegetarian meals and snacks.

Pricing includes accomodation for 1 night & 2 days, meals, snacks, classes and activities.

Early Bird Price: $550 - Family of 4, $475 - Family of 3, $375 - Family of 2, $225 - Single

1. Earlybird prices close by 8th May 2026.
2. No refunds will be provided.
3. Child must be accompanied by Parent/Guardian
4. If your child is not within the supervision of Chinmaya Mission Sevaks ('Sevaks') or attending a class supervised by Sevaks you have full responsibility of the safety and well-being of your child. Chinmaya Mission will not be liable for any harm that your child incurs outside the supervision of the Sevaks.
