WAFDC - Bibbulmun Track for Beginners

The WA Foundation for Deaf Children is partnering with the Bibbulmun Track Foundation to offer an exciting weekend experience for teenagers in Year 10 to Year 13.Participants will learn bushwalking, camping, tent setup, and basic map reading and navigation skills. All equipment—including tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, and cooking utensils—will be hired through the Bibbulmun Track Foundation.
Please note that your child must be fit and able to walk 8.6km on both days of the weekend. Families are only required to cover the cost of food for the two days.
A compulsory pre-walk briefing for the child and a parent or guardian will be held at the WAFDC office on 30th October at 6:30pm.
Auslan Interpreter will be provided for the weekend.

Travel to and from the starting and finishing point to be discussed closer to the date.
