Sunday, 3rd August | From 3:00pmThis Sunday, I’m inviting a small handful of wine lovers to join me for a quiet celebration of something truly special, Townsville’s very first pour of Paulmara Estate’s just-released, 2025 Georgiadis Sangiovese.
This lighter, more elegant expression of Sangiovese, has been crafted with intention: it is designed to be fresh, soft, and effortlessly enjoyable, made for a North Queensland afternoon or a midweek pasta night.
It’s an honour to be entrusted with these bottles before release, the dedicated team at Paulmara Estate valuing my professional opinion, but rather than keep them to myself, I’d rather share the moment.
Together, we’ll enjoy a relaxed tasting with light food accompaniment to punctuate the experience, my thanks to Chef Damien Tosh. This is not a formal masterclass, just a moment of wine discovery, shared in good company, with honest conversation and a glass of something new in hand.
