About
Rod Gear is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with over three decades of experience in music. He composes, performs, and records music, with early influences from his father and brother, who introduced him to jazz. Rod studied at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) in Melbourne, Australia, and later worked as a freelance musician in the Melbourne jazz scene. He also has a novel, "Three feet from the Gutter, Two feet from Heaven," available on Amazon, about his experiences busking and how it saved his musical career.Date
