A casual weekend workshop where you’ll learn how to build a simple shelter from scratch - using sustainable, locally sourced bamboo.

What we'll explore:

- Different species of bamboo / how they’re best utilised
- Harvesting and curing bamboo
- Building techniques - splitting, binding and joining
- How to protect and preserve bamboo
- Step by step instruction on building a simple shelter

About your instructor:

‘Donnie Bamboo’ has over 35 years experience working with bamboo - building yurts, bhataks, furniture and more!

What's included:

- Casual tuition - learning some of the tools of the trade
