Escape Hatch Books is thrilled to be hosting the launch of Twelve Golden Gifts: A Memoir of Love, Dementia, and Doughnuts by Spiri Tsintziras.It is a must-read for those looking after a fading loved one and for anyone who is moved by a beautiful - and funny - love story. The book, part tribute to Spiri's mother and part practical guide, offers insights into navigating the challenges of diagnosis, living with dementia, and dealing with grief.
It's a story about love, family, and finding humor and strength in the face of adversity.
Please come along and help us celebrate it's launch, as well as raise money for a good cause, with a percentage of book sales on the night to be donated to Dementia Australia. There will be an "in conversation" with Spiri, refreshments, a raffle, Greek music and more!
