Minikhana Come and Try Day is aimed at a improving a young rider’s skill levels, sportsmanship, and
control. Riders complete a series of fun courses designed to help them develop their skills, bike
control, and confidence.
Who can participate in the Minikhana Ride Park Day?
To participate in the Minikhana RPD, riders must be under the age of 18 and be riding an
eligible bike. Bike sizes start with smaller 50cc capacity bikes and goes up to 125cc 2 strokes
and 250cc four stroke bikes.
RSA Membership
Participants must also hold a current full RSA membership, or alternatively a Trial membership may be
acquired on the day by completing the paper RSA One Event and Trial Membership Application
Full Membership is $150 per year over 18 and is prorated on a monthly basis to be inline with the
expiry of RSA insurance policy. The cost of Full RSA Minor is $115 per year and is prorated monthly to
be inline with the expiry of RSA insurance policy. https://ridersport.au/memberships
This is your membership and your license to compete/enter at all RSA events for the remainder of the RSA year
Trial Membership - $0
Trial Membership means the responsible person has completed an Adult or Minor Membership in wet
ink for the period of the relevant event only.
Parents and carers are encouraged to get involved on the day and help out with set up,
running the obstacles, and pack up of the event - with the assistance of the experienced
motorcycling officials. Parental involvement in the Minikhana event ensures the child can
continue to develop their skills outside of the formal Minikhana events and ensures the smooth
running of the event. Many hands make light work.
Protective Clothing
Minimum requirements: **
• Helmet – Australian standards or similar
• Clothing - Gloves, long sleeve jersey and long pants
• Body Armour - Recommended for Junior riders
• Off-road Boots ***
• Goggles/eye protection
** Protective clothing of acceptable standards is the responsibility of the rider.
***be constructed of leather or other similarly durable material; and be of a length which must at least
overlap the trousers with the rider in a normal seated riding position on the machine.
Bike and Equipment Safety Requirements
Handlebar ends are plugged
Brake and Clutch Levers have ball ends on them
Throttle must return freely
Kick starter folds away
No loose or broken spokes on the wheels
Front and back brakes must work and levers return
Tyres are in good condition,
Chain properly adjusted
• No play in wheel, swing arm or steering head bearings
• Foot pegs retract and have split pins installed
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be confined in the helmet or jacket
Any body jewellery is to be removed or securely taped
Riders briefing is compulsory.
No late riders briefing will be given.
Come prepared to supply a volunteer.
BYO food and drinks as catering is not available.
No Dogs – this is a working farm and dogs are not welcome
Closed pit will be in operation. No riding outside the track area.
