We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural PLC Senior School Sports Awards Dinner on Monday 13 October. We are especially excited to announce our special guest speaker – Cate Campbell OAM, eight-time Olympic medallist and one of Australia's most inspiring athletes.

Time: 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm
Venue: Optus Stadium, River View Room 3
Cost: $150 per person or $1,500 per table of 10 (included in the ticket price is a three-course plated meal, soft drink package, as well as a cash bar for parents)
Dress: Smart Casual for parents/guests and Winter Uniform for PLC students

Cate Campbell is one of Australia’s greatest swimmers, with four Olympic Games, eight Olympic medals, and multiple World and Commonwealth titles to her name. Bursting onto the scene as a teenager, she broke records early and became a leader in some of Australia’s most iconic relay wins, earning the honour of being Flag Bearer at the Tokyo Olympics.
Since retiring in 2024, Cate has transitioned into commentary, ambassador roles, and keynote speaking, while championing sun safety as an ambassador for the Melanoma Institute Australia. She is also the co-author of Sister Secrets with her sister Bronte, and continues to inspire others through her media work, advocacy, and passion for health, family, and travel.
During the dinner, we will be recognising our student athletes and teams in the following categories:
- PLC Senior Sportswoman of the Year (Years 11 & 12)
- PLC Junior Sportswoman of the Year (Years 7 – 10)
- PLC Champion of Character
- PLC Team of the Year
- Service to PLC Sport
