Featuring Elizabeth Harper, Rebeca O'Hanlon, Michael Handy, Ben Caukwell alongside the Artes Christi Chamber Orchestra and choirs of the Bondi Parishes, St Francis Paddington and St Peter's Surrey Hills.George Frideric Handel's Messiah, composed in 1741, stands as one of the most beloved choral works in Western classical music. Written in just 24 days, this sacred oratorio tells the story of Christ's prophecy, birth, passion, resurrection, and triumph through carefully selected biblical texts.
