About
Inducible Laryngeal Obstruction (ILO) and Breathing Pattern Disorder (BPD) pose major challenges in clinical practice. This one-day course is designed for respiratory physicians and trainees, ENT specialists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, and other healthcare professionals managing patients with complex breathlessness. The program draws on a decade of practical and published experience in the Alfred multidisciplinary ILO and BPD services, supported by leading external guest faculty.Topics included

- Investigations and differentials of ILO
- Exercise-induced Laryngeal Obstruction (EILO)
- Treatment of BPD
- Treatment of ILO: speech therapy, medications, CPAP, surgery
