ARTEMIS: UTTER MESS is a show about labels and the difference between words that confine us and words that set us free. Join Artemis Muñoz at Meeniyan Hall for this all-ages, alcohol-free event, as they unpack their journey to self-acceptance live on stage!This show is for anyone who has ever wondered where they belong or has been confused about living in a world that takes issue with words of identity and community but is keen to put us in the wrong boxes, nonetheless. Artemis takes the audience on their journey to self-discovery as a non-binary, asexual, bi-racial and neurodivergent person through song, stories and several excellent puns!
Warnings: Coarse Language, Discussion/Exploration of Queerphobia (specifically aphobia and transphobia), Discussion/Exploration of Ableism and Ableist Language, Discussion/Exploration of Mental Illness, Mentions of Eugenics
Recommended age range: 15+ (can be appropriate for mature people younger than this)
