About
The Annual Manjimup Bluegrass & OldTime Music Weekend, King’s Birthday Weekend, 26th-29th September, 2025. Started in 2012, it’s a unique, boutique music event which focuses on learning new skills, making music and making friends.Australia’s pre eminent bluegrass band, Perth’s very own Bluegrass Parkway, will be the feature band this year and Craig Woodward from Melbourne, known to be Australia’s best exponent of the oldtime music tradition, will be running workshops and jam sessions for those who wish to hone their skills in this tradition from the Appalachian area of North America.
It’s a bring your instrument music event for weekend ticket holders so you can take part in workshops and jams Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday's concert at Tall Timbers Brewery featuring Bluegrass Parkway will be followed by a Cajun Dance - tunes provided by Craig Woodward - will be a highlight of the weekend. Check the website for more details
