The Aussie Bird Count 2025 & Basic Bird First Aid
Join BirdLife Australia president Mandy Bamford as she discusses the importance of citizen science projects like the ABBC and how you can participate. Mandy will also cover how to be owl friendly and other ways to support birds in our suburbs. This year’s ABBC will be held from 20 to 26 October, aiming to protect Australia’s birds and aid their conservation.
Basic Bird First Aid: What can you do to help?
Have you ever encountered a sick or injured bird and wondered how to respond? Angela Radalj of WA Seabird Rescue will discuss common scenarios, provide general bird first aid knowledge and skills and share local wildlife network information. Heartwarming rescue videos will be shared to end the talk.
