The Aldebaran Park Redwood Carnival is Maryborough’s Flagship Harness Racing Event. This All-Trotting Carnival is one of the most unique and popular harness racing events on Victoria’s provincial calendar. In 2025, Redwood Sunday has been boosted to be one of the most lucrative trotting races in the southern hemisphere and features two Group 1 Races – Victorian Trotters Derby and the Aldebaran Park Redwood Classic. Included also is the Group 3 Maryborough Trotters Cup. Don’t miss this opportunity to see the best trotters in harness racing take to the track as they descend on Maryborough for biggest weekend in October.Across the weekend, there are a number of events planned welcoming everyone for Trivia and Fun on Friday night following Redwood Remembrance Race Day, Paul Costa Live on Saturday evening and a massive Family Day at the track planned for Sunday's Aldebaran Park Redwood Day.
