最受工作室同学和家长欢迎的世界数学团队锦标赛 WMTC（WORLD MATHEMATICS TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP）的2025年预赛和工作室UP加赛时间已经确认，报名即日开始，至8月23日6:00 PM结束。 

世界数学团体锦标赛（WMTC）强调注重团队合作的精神，竞赛本身要求参赛队员既要充分发挥个人的才智，又要努力和同组队员沟通与合作。他们需要更好地了解自己的团队成员，学会分工合作，有担当负责任，以团队为单位完成比赛。 预赛和决赛的题目都是来自各国有多年数学竞赛领域经验的数学家和数学竞赛教育者，可以拓宽澳洲学生的数学知识面，增强对数学理论和应用的理解。比赛结果也可以和其他国家和地区的参赛选手统一排名。WMTC 2025决赛将于12月3日到8日在泰国举办，预赛中本地各级别前三名的团队有资格参加决赛，届时团队和工作室可协商是否组团赴海外参加。

工作室非常鼓励各位同学尝试此项赛事。2021-2024年，墨尔本都有数十所学校近百名学生，参加WMTC三个级别的比赛。 我们的学生们在各个级别中都取得了非常好的成绩。 与此同时，为了满足工作室众多低年级学生的需求，我们也特意增加了一个由工作室出题，规则相同，难度相对较低的Primary级别的比赛。

来自不同学校、数学程度较为接近的6人小组，在工作室的指导下自发讨论、互动、切磋…每次几个小时的投入，更让我们和家长们惊讶不已、难以忘怀。数学的学习和思考是孤独的，前行的路上有志同道合的朋友，尤为珍贵。

响应各位家长和学生的建议，2025年破冰活动将在8月24日周日上午举行，破冰活动仅限参加比赛的学生参加～

工作室可能会在日后举办一些其他活动供工作室学员和家长参与～

Group Divisions 分组说明和比赛时间

1. WMTC - Primary – For participants born in or after 2013 (2013年或之后出生)

2. WMTC - Junior – For participants born in or after 2013 (2013年或之后出生)

3. WMTC - Intermediate - For participants born in or after 2010 (2010年或之后出生)

4. WMTC—Advanced - For participants who are still in high school and who were born in or after 2007.（2007年或之后出生的高中在读生）

破冰聚会时间：周日8月24日上午 10:00 am - 12:30 PM （仅限参赛学生参加～）

比赛日期:  周日 8月31日晚 5:30-8:30 PM 

地点：Box Hill Community Arts Centre

Register Fee:  AU$50, for each participator at each level, including light meal. 

注册费用是每人每个级别的比赛50澳币，含比赛休息期间的轻食。

每个团队由6位成员组成。报名时，可以自己组队，将注册链接转发给你希望邀请的朋友。如果不能组队，工作室会协调组队。

Each team consists of 6 students. You could team up by yourself, share the link with your team members and register by the team name directly. If you are interested in competing and do not yet have a team, register here first and the Studio will try to help you to arrange the team.  

Background：
WMTC is founded by Prof. Quan K. Lam from University of California, the chairman of ARML International, and Mr. Zhou Guozhen, the founder of the Hope Cup in China. This competition would differ from many other mathematics competitions such as American Mathematics Competitions (AMC) and International Math Olympiad (IMO). It would be a team–oriented competition where competing students from all over the world. They would compete with each other while sharing their experience and culture with other international teams through touring famous sights of that location and other academic and cultural activities together.
In 2020, WMTC had over 2200 students from about 35 countries from every continent participated.  

MathInside Studio was founded in 2019 in Melbourne, the education centre of Australia, by Mr Vince Sun, who worked as a senior strategy analyst, but loves Mathematics and won the Gold Prize of CMO and engaged in Mathematical Olympiad learning and training for many years. Combining Mr Vince Sun's personal Math Olympiad experience and the Australian Curriculum of Mathematics, the Studio is passionate about adventuring mathematical problems connecting to the real world with young students. Our students have made significant improvements in not only their daily study and competitions but also their passion for mathematics and the way of thinking that may benefit them in their whole lives.
