Creative Development Workshop
About
This workshop will introduce individuals and companies to world-leading best practices in the creative development of screen content.With support from Screenwest, WIFT Australia is pleased to present this event hosted at the 2025 CinefestOZ Film Festival in Busselton, WA to address a critical skills gap in Western Australia’s screen sector - creative development for scripted projects.
Participants can expect to walk away with new ideas and strategies for building robust creative development pipelines; embedding audiences into the creative development process from day one; and innovative finance structures for funding creative development.
Registrations are open to all genders and highly subsidised thanks to Screenwest with a set number of registrations reserved for female/gender diverse and First Nations participants. Registration includes tea, coffee and a light lunch.
