EAL, ICT & AI - How to leverage digital tools and AI in EAL/D teachingThis practical session will explore how teachers can use digital tools and AI to support learning in EAL/D classrooms. We will look at how to make the most of tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Teams, Quizlet and other resources that work best for language learners.
The session will also cover how AI can be used to adapt materials, create activities and support vocabulary development. While the focus is on EAL/D, the strategies can be applied to a range of student groups.
Presenters: Caitlin Fenn (Blackwood High) and Eliza Demasi (Pembroke)
Light refreshments and a Certificate of Attendance (1.5 hours of professional learning) will be provided.
