The Kunanyi Folk Club is proud to present local legends Django's Tiger at our September concert. As always, three floorspots will open the night too.Django’s Tiger brings the fiery rhythms of gypsy swing and the charm of Parisian waltzes to the Kunanyi Folk Club’s concert series. Featuring the dazzling violin of Charlie McCarthy, the inventive guitar playing of Harry Edwards, and the rock-solid rhythm of Isaac Gee, the trio delivers an evening of virtuosic improvisation, swinging melodies, and infectious energy. Fresh off their acclaimed SOHO Arts Concert Series, now in its third year, Django’s Tiger continues to captivate audiences with their blend of tradition and spontaneity. For this program, they will be focusing on European folk music influenced by the jazz of the era.
