For one night only, enjoy a one hour comedy special from up-and-coming Melbourne performers to fundraise for a crucial short film from graduating Swinburne University students.Finding Mama, a comedic yet serious docu-fiction featuring a whimsical reimagination of Harold Holt, an ex-Prime Minister of Australia, has passed its production phase. However, to make this short film a reality, which is ultimately a call to action for audiences and governments to see the value of independent theatre and performers, we need you! The post-production and distribution phases have ongoing costs that student filmmakers cannot cover without help. Support the arts by attending a comedy night full of up-and-coming performers who are fundraising for a film by young artists that celebrates all things theatrical, fun and most importantly, art.
All tickets and donations cover the costs of hosting this event, and all profits contribute to the creation of Finding Mama.
