SCIENCE WEEK - Starry Night (SOLD OUT)
All Firbank families are invited to attend an exciting event for Science Week. We will be holding an Astronomy Night.
This evening we will explore the planets, see examples of deep space astrophotography and then view the sky through a powerful professional performance level telescope.
Whether you are an aspiring astronomer or simply curious about the cosmos, you will find this to be incredibly interesting. This is not limited to students. Family and friends are welcome!
Cris Ellis will be in attendance and is a professional astronomer with qualifications in astrophysics, metrology, optometrical Physics and cosmology. Cris has been performing astronomy presentations and viewing events for more than 30 years.
Please note places are limited to 50 people per night, and 1 parent per booking. A 3rd night will be arranged if the limit is reached and demand remains.
