Wildflowers, Weeds and Wilderness by Tabatha Badger
You are invited to Petrarch's Bookshop as we launch Wildflowers, Weeds and Wilderness by Tabatha Badger.
Florence Perrin (1884-1952) was many things: a bushwalker, botanic researcher, philanthropist and photographer. Why then did this prolific Tasmanian’s name almost disappear from recent history while her male friends, such as Gustav Weindorfer, Paddy Harnett and Steven Spurling III, became our household wilderness heroes? This is the first compilation of Florence’s adventurous, busy life and her photographs. It will no doubt, not be the last.
All welcome. Free tickets provides general admission.
