Gentle Ground: Monthly Community Practice

Welcome to Gentle Ground - a 75-minute online community practice blending trauma informed yoga, mindfulness, and gentle reflection, offered every first Wednesday of the month.Facilitated by Maejoy, a trauma informed yoga teacher with a background in psychology, each session is designed to foster a felt sense of safety, agency, and ease in your mind and body.
Whether you’re new to yoga, moving through challenges, or seeking a calm reset, Gentle Ground meets you where you are. Yoga movement is guided by your needs on the day, with several modifications. Sessions include grounding, mindful movement, guided restorative practice, and time for journaling with optional sharing.
Past attendees have described Gentle Ground as “nourishing and grounding,” “restorative and calming,” and “exactly what I needed”.
