With a career spanning more than five decades, world-renowned Australian cinematographer John Seale ACS ASC—five-time Academy Award nominee and winner in 1996 for The English Patient—will be in Melbourne for a special screening of his first American feature film, Witness, which earned him his first Academy Award nomination. Following the screening, John will share insights into his early years in the industry and recount the “big break” that launched him into Hollywood, where he went on to craft the visual style of some of the world’s most successful box-office hits.
