Its Spring!This is a fun, hands on community event to get a bit of gardening started. Seeds are for edible flowers, herbs and vegetables.
At the centre of this workshop is the Permaculture Principle Oberve and Interact.
Observe and Interact is the first Permaculture Principle. It invites us to take the time to get to know our patch of Earth before we go about making any changes.
Spring is here. Lets tune in to our beautiful patch of Earth and the seasonal changes here in the hills. We will have a quick look at a couple of Permaculture garden planning tools, then we will dive in and plant a whole variety of seasonally appropriate seeds to share.
I’ll make sure there are plenty of plants that are perfect for pots.
Participants take home planted seeds in seedling trays and some started seedlings.
Kids over 10 welcome with an adult.
