2025 Jesuit Mission Bazaar Battle of the Bands Registration
In 2025 The Jesuit Mission Bazaar will be held at Saint Ignatius College Riverview. We invite students in Rock Bands from Schools/Colleges to register to compete in our 2025 Battle of the Bands.

BAND CHECK-IN TIME: 1.30pm at side of stage
Each Band to prepare two songs of their own choice:
● Song #1 for the Heats
● Song #2 for the Final
PRIZES:
● 1st Prize: $500 cash
● 2nd Prize: $300 cash
● 3rd Prize: $100 cash
EQUIPMENT PROVIDED:
- PA system with foldback
- 2 x Vocal microphones on stands
- 2 x Guitar amplifiers
- Bass amplifier
- Keyboard with amplifier
- Drum kit
Bands will be expected to bring their own guitars.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- THE FUNDAMENTALS /10
The “total package” - the overall band sound, look and cohesiveness as a unit.
- STAGE PRESENCE /10
Moving around & using the full stage, interacting with other band members and the crowd.
- TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY /10
Technical proficiency on each instrument; full, clear notes & steady tempo start to finish.
- SONG CHOICE /10
Songs highlight the band’s strengths. Band captures the style and spirit of the song.
- PROFESSIONALISM /10
Preparation of gear and ready to begin on time.
TOTAL: /50 points
