One Day Course: "An Introduction to Beekeeping"
Beekeeping is more involved than most people realize. This one day course is an overview of Beekeeping. Aimed at helping people decide if the hobby really is for them. It covers current legal requirements like registration, also basic tools & gear required. Also will cover the basics of a bee colony, pest & disease, swarming, lighting a smoker and a live hive inspection (weather permitting). Course may also helpful to first season beekeepers.
