2025 Food Safety for Youth
Kickstart Your Hospitality Career with Food Safety Training
This Food Safety Program is the ideal starting point for young people aged 12–25 who want to gain skills for work in the hospitality industry.
When you register, you’ll receive a link to an online Food Safety course within a week. This self-paced module covers the key theory at your own pace.
On Wednesday 1 October, you’ll attend Cheltenham Community Centre for your final test. Our experienced instructor, Steve, will support you so you feel confident and ready.
After the test, you’ll step into our fully equipped commercial kitchen for a hands-on session. Here you’ll put your learning into practice, developing the real-world skills needed to handle food safely in a professional environment.
Upon completion, you’ll earn your nationally recognised Food Safety Certificate — a credential that can open doors to jobs in cafes, restaurants, catering, and beyond.
