About
Queers in Science SA is hosting an evening exploring astronomy at the Adelaide Planetarium. The Planetarium houses a Zeiss ZKP-1 star projector that accurately reproduces the night sky on an 8-metre dome, providing a highly realistic view of stars, planets, and other celestial objects. The 1-hour session led by Planetarium staff and pitched to our audience to ensure the content is engaging and easy to follow. You’ll learn about the solar system, stars, and space exploration, with opportunities to ask questions throughout. Come with some background knowledge or questions in mind to help you get the most out of the experience.
