Workshop: Constraint Based Writing, Alex McKeown

About
In this workshop we will place constraints on our writing to spark creativity, unlocking new ideas by turning our writing into a puzzle to be solved. Many artists have found that the more barriers they face, the more creative and interesting their solutions become, so let's put up our own barriers, and see how we get around them.A constraint can be used to form an entire work, from a little haiku to a long novel, or used as a temporary trick to fire up our inspiration and get us writing freely.
This will be a practical workshop where we create new works on the fly. We will put aside our critical and editing minds to revel in whatever surprises we manage to produce
