This program, invoking dramatic imagery and soundscapes, features the distinctive Australian voices of Barry Conyngham, Louisa Trewartha and Andrián Pertout. They stand alongside Yoshimatsu’s Fuzzy Bird Sonata, a contemporary classic with hints of bebop, that blends rhythmic drive with lyrical expression.
Kenealy and Green formed Duo Eclettico to explore the wealth of repertoire for their unique instrumental combination. Together they program important existing works and new transcriptions, and work with composers to further the breadth of repertoire for this ensemble.
