Eyes on Palestine presents a community screening of the documentary Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk. Screened at Cannes and the 2025 Melbourne International Film Festival, Iranian director Sepideh Farsi’s film draws on her WhatsApp exchanges with Palestinian journalist Fatima Hassouna, to document the Israeli military campaign against Gaza. Fatima Hassouna is a photographer and poet, who became a film maker as she videoed the daily experiences in her neighbourhood. The film’s title Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk comes from a description of how Fatima approaches leaving her home each day on Gaza.Recommended for mature audiences 15+
A light supper will be provided after the screening.
All Proceeds will go to the charity Medical Aid for Palestinians
