Step into the world of artistic excellence with WCEI Queensland as we tour the prestigious 2025 Brisbane Portrait Prize. Guided by WCEI QLD Member and Red Hill Gallery owner Margaret Campbell Ryder, we’ll explore extraordinary works up close, connect with fellow members in a cultural setting, and celebrate one of Brisbane’s most renowned art events. Hosted by former WCEI President Catherine Baudet, the evening will also farewell our current State President, Suzanne Bosanquet, as she concludes her two-year term. With over 120 represented artists and four decades of experience, Margaret brings passion and insight to this inspiring event. The Brisbane Portrait Prize, now in its seventh year, champions artistic excellence, creates opportunities for emerging and established artists, and deepens public engagement with the arts through storytelling and contemporary portraiture.Date
