About
Please join us for an important Information Session introducing the Northern Territory Central Intake Service (CIS)—a transformative initiative aimed at improving access to homelessness support across the Territory.
This session will:
- Introduce the CIS model and its key service features
- Provide space for questions and feedback
- Engage the sector to explore current questions and identify system barriers the service may help address
- Foster discussion on how we can work collaboratively to support people to access the services they need.
The CIS is designed to offer a simpler, targeted, and more culturally responsive pathway to support, ensuring individuals and families only need to share their story once. With place-based hubs in Darwin, Alice Springs and Katherine, and outreach to Tennant Creek, as well as phone and digital access, the service connects clients to the right supports through warm referrals and culturally-safe pathways.
We look forward to your insights and participation as we shape a more inclusive and effective support system across the Northern Territory.
