Andy High, a 64-year-old comedian from the NSW South Coast, is proof that growing older doesn’t mean growing up. Born in the UK and sent to Australia in 1988 as a bicentennial 'gift' from the Queen, Andy’s comedy reflects a life lived with one foot in the past and the other stuck in a present he’s still figuring out.Whether you’re here for laughs, life lessons or just to see a seasoned comedian try to navigate today’s politically correct world Ok, Boomer promises an evening of entertainment that proves older isn't always wiser.
Andy’s humour is fueled by the hilarious tension between his youthful self-image and the reality of his bathroom mirror. Runner-up in RAW Comedy in Wollongong in 2019, NSW State Finalist 2023 and Australia’s Funniest Boomer finalist in 2024, Andy’s accolades speak to his ability to connect with audiences of all ages. A Melbourne International Comedy Festival regular and a crowd favourite at the Riverina Comedy Club, Andy is as authentic as they come.
