Kintsugi for Clothing - Mending with Gold Threads

About
To celebrate International Repair Day, discover the art of repairing your own clothing through hand-sewing techniques rather than letting your favourite wardrobe items go to waste!Celebrating over 20 years of Slow Fashion, High Tea with Mrs Woo are Newcastle-based designers crafting clothing and accessories for modern thoughtful living. They developed Kintsugi for Clothing practice to cherish and extend the life of garments through visible mending with gold thread.
BRING: A few of your own garments with small holes that you’ve been wanting to mend. We advise the size of the repair be no larger than a 20c coin so you can complete some mends in this 1.5-hour session. You'll learn essential mending skills using a simple needle and gold thread (supplied).
COST: Free! Please ONLY book if you can make it.
This workshop is beginner-friendly—open to all ages and abilities. If you have any access or inclusion needs, please advise us when booking.
