LEARN TO SAIL FOR BEGINNERS Women on Water (WOW)
About
The RSAYS is running a short course for women who are beginners or those with a basic knowledge of sailing. Over the September weekend, each day will start with on-shore learning and instruction, then it will be out on the water to put your learning into practice.The small group instruction will be taken by members of the RSAYS who are experienced sailors and keelboat owners. You will be learning on their yachts with a number of mentors to guide you.
Suitable for beginners or those with a basic background.
Sat 20 September, 9am - 4pm
Spend the morning on-shore learning the basics of sailing. BYO lunch will be on board and then on the water for the rest of the day to put things into practice.
Sun 21 September, 9am – 4pm
Continuation of Saturday’s learning onshore, then to the yacht for the rest of the day for on-water learning. BYO lunch. Gather on the Quarterdeck for a debrief with drinks and nibbles (provided).
