Join us for an insightful evening exploring the important topic of mental health challenges within the Deaf community. Keynote speaker is Ramas McRae and other presenters TBA.Research shows Deaf people are at a higher risk of experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma compared to the general population. This is not because of deafness itself, but because of barriers to communication, social isolation, and lack of access to services.
