Would you like to learn more about how to support your child with reading at home? Please join us for our FREE parent workshops.We have two workshops on offer and parents/carers are welcome to register for either one or both workshops. So, register now!
Two of our SCSS Teachers and the Early Years Specialist will guide you through these workshops with the aim to build your understanding about:
Workshop 1:
- How you can support your child when reading at home
- What skills and knowledge your child needs to be a successful reader
- How you can support with Phonics Practice Homework
- Some common mistakes children make and how you can help
Workshop 2:
- How you can support your child when reading at home
- The importance of decodable readers
- The connection between reading and writing
