iNaturalist Training Day

About
Using iNaturalist is a way ordinary people can contribute to environmental knowledge - observations loaded to iNaturalist are forwarded to Atlas of Living Australia which is backed by CSIRO and the Australian museums.
Friends of Kangaroo Creek, Wheatsheaf and Wombat Forestcare have organised a workshop with Euan Moore from the Castlemaine Field Naturalists Club to teach participants how to use iNaturalist.
The event will be held on Saturday 20th Sept from 10-3 at the Trentham Mechanics Institute, and it is a FREE event.
The workshop will be limited to 12 participants, in order to provide individualised coaching to each participant. Participants need to bring a phone and a laptop, and have basic computer knowledge. Further information will be provided once you book.
The day will start with an introduction to the app and its uses, and then involve a practical session photographing outdoors, then coming back to load images onto the app.
After lunch there will be a deeper dive into iNaturalist and its functions.
People can stay until lunchtime or for the full workshop. BYO lunch etc.
