About
They’re smooth, they’re funky, and they’re bringing the Kentucky twang Down Under. For the first time ever, dynamic duo Laid Back Country Picker are heading to Australia for a string of unmissable shows this October, bringing their indescribable brand of 70s guitar power with honky-tonk leanings to George Lane on October 16
Armed with a Telecaster, a moustache, and a groove that won’t quit, husband and wife team Laid Back Country Picker deliver hard-country riffs, cosmic energy, and wry storytelling that’s earned the duo cult status across the American South—and now, it’s Australia’s turn to ride the laid-back wave.
Laid Back spins tall tales and pays homage to the guitar gods while being driven by the jackhammer drumming of Honey. Laid Back has played with everyone from the Georgia Satellites to the Kentucky Headhunters, has opened for Thin Lizzy and The Guess Who and even served as a mentor to a young Tyler Childers.
