Join us on Saturday 30 August at 2pm for a delightful afternoon of Violin Classics!LINDA GILBERTAustralian-born violinist, Linda Gilbert, is a soloist, chamber musician and violin educator.
Ms. Gilbert gave her first concert performance at the age of 6, which was followed by notable competition success in Australia and Europe. Her awards have included the prestigious Roma Liggins Scholarship, three-time winner of City of Hobart Open Instrumental Recital and Jan Sedivka Memorial Award, 1st Prize Wenkart Foundation Junior Violin Award and Second Prize at Euterpe International Music Competition. Currently Linda performs extensively in Australia and internationally, having graduated from Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Moscow (class of Prof. M.V. Fedotov). She has performed in collaboration with notable concert artists in Australia, Germany and Austria. In September 2025, Linda will commence her Masters degree, having received several international invitations for postgraduate studies.
