Amarina’s Christmas Journey is a brand-new original production blending music, story, and digital magic. At its heart is Amarina Dean — a glamorous starlet of the past, now facing the challenges of memory loss. As she sorts through her photo albums, fragments of her extraordinary life come alive, weaving together moments of laughter, heartbreak, and joy.

Amarina shares her journey with her beloved granddaughter Rhapsody (played by 10-year-old Kenzie via a special video call), bringing warmth and hope across the generations. Alongside stunning digital design by Kelton Le Var, the show weaves live performance, favourite Christmas songs, and multimedia storytelling into a unique and moving theatrical experience.

For the Nanango season, Amarina will be joined by acclaimed pianist Graham Mitchell, while other performances feature Amarina in her signature solo style — interacting with her “stereo companion” as if it were a character in its own right.
