Melbourne's immersive fantasy masquerade where guests step into a world of magic and mischief.Now in its 13th year, The Goblin Ball returns with live performance, cabaret, and some of Melbourne’s most elaborate costumes.
Step inside The Goblin Ballroom and the line between reality and fantasy begins to blur. The story unfolds around you, and you become part of it all.
Explore a living world of secrets and unfolding moments, where a cast of fantasy characters may help or hinder your journey through the night.
THE HOUSE OF SAND AND SIN
Welcome to the House of Sand and Sin, where crime is currency and secrets are traded freely. Gods, rogues, and kings move through the room, each with their own agenda.
Not every alliance is what it seems.
- Dress in your most amazing costumes, or wear formal attire with a mask!
- Interact with our cast and learn the storylines
- Bring trinkets to trade with other guests
- Follow the mystery as it unfolds
- Experience live burlesque and cabaret acts
- Dance, explore or step away in the low sensory space
No two guests experience the night the same way. You choose how your night unfolds.
COSTUMES & BEST DRESSED
Costume is part of the experience.
Guests arrive in everything from simple touches to elaborate creations, transforming the room into a living fantasy world.
Each night, selected guests will be crowned Best Dressed - The New Supreme, with prizes awarded for those who embrace the spirit of The Goblin Ball.
Come as you are or arrive in something extraordinary.
Driven by alliances and deception, the stories of The Goblin Ball shift constantly. The world responds to your choices, whether you intend it to or not.
