Some of Brisbane's premier artists will be rocking Milton Common to raise funds to support Save Victoria Park Inc. in their legal battle to prevent the construction of an Olympic Stadium on Brisbane's cherished green space.We aim not only to raise funds but amplify awareness about the park's cultural and historical significance, particularly its importance to the Indigenous community. Victoria Park stands as one of Brisbane's last prime green spaces, a sanctuary for wildlife and a beloved area for Brisbane's residents to enjoy.
The gig features a diverse line-up of local bands and artists, coming together to celebrate and preserve the park for future generations. Held in the very cool Milton Common, there will be cold drinks, excellent food and a fantastic vibe! Through music and community spirit, we are seeking to rally public support and ensure the protection of this vital habitat and cultural site.
