Come and celebrate International Day of People with Disability 2025 with WA Country Health Service and Department of Health, Disability Health Network.Our theme this year is – Regional realities: What people with disability in country WA want health services to know.
You can join us at Grace Vaughan House, 233 Stubbs Terrace, Shenton Park or join us online via MS Teams.
People with disability in regional and remote Western Australia have unique experiences that shape their access to health services. Jaimen Hudson, Naomi Lake, and Sandy Dann will share their personal stories about living with disability in country WA and how we can make health services better.
Come along and learn how to work with people with disability and country health services to provide more equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive care.
This is a free event with a light lunch from 11.30am to 12.00pm. Auslan interpreters will be onsite.
