Isola Bianca explores "La Cava Bianca" -- “In the haunting beauty of Lipari’s abandoned pumice quarry, past and present collide—through voices of memory and loss, the film traces a story of labour, ecological scars, and the island’s search for a sustainable future”.Narrated by geo-poet Davide Sapienza, featuring Aeolian Historian Guiseppe La Greca, Natural Scientist Pietro Lo Cascio, Terrain Guide Flavia Grita and former miners
AS II presents the first screening outside Sicily of an inspiring documentary film "La Cava Bianca" (The White Quarry).
Prelude "Aeolus" performed by Kelly Dowall, using ancient wind instruments; the Maori koauau pongaihu, the Turkish ney and the clarinet.
