Jack Howard played trumpet with Hunters & Collectors and along the way has performed with Midnight Oil,The Violent Femmes, Rodriguez, The Living End and a host of others. Alyce Platt is one of Australia’s most beloved TV stars, featuring in Sons And Daughters, Neighbours and Sale Of The Century. Nicky Del Rey is one of Melbourne’s great guitarists, performing with Tex Perkins, Intoxica, The Cartridge Family, Monique Brumby and so many more.They are all very different singers and songwriters but they share a strong common theme of soul-searching lyricism and great melodic sensibility. In this new trio, they perform each other’s songs with empathy and gorgeous three part harmonies. With Alyce on acoustic guitar, Nick on electric guitar and Jack on trumpet and flugel horn, their sound is rich but with enough space to hear the words - which are worth hearing.
