2025 Community Language Schools Conference

Welcome to the 2025 Community Language Schools Conference!
Dear Community Language Schools Principals, Teachers, and Leaders,
We are delighted to invite you to the 2025 Community Language Schools Conference, hosted by Community Languages Victoria.
Join us on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2025, from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at RMIT University's Storey Hall in Melbourne. This year, we're celebrating the future and recognising the incredible work you do every day to keep languages alive.
Our conference theme is 'The Future of Community Languages: Purpose, Pedagogy & People.'
It's a day dedicated to exploring how we can harness a shared sense of purpose, advance our teaching practices, and empower the people who are at the heart of our community language schools—our students, our educators, and our families.
This full-day conference is a fantastic opportunity for professional development, networking, and celebration. We have curated a program that includes two inspiring keynote addresss, a range of new speakers, engaging workshops, live cultural performances, and a vibrant cultural atmosphere. As a special feature this year, the day will conclude with a new, interactive plenary session focusing on child safety and the latest related to this important topic.
Stay for the entire day to take advantage of every session and connect with peers and mentors. Be sure to be present at the final session, as we will be drawing fantastic door prizes for lucky attendees.
We look forward to welcoming you to a day filled with learning, delicious food, and a joyful environment. Come and be a part of the future of community languages.
